The role
You are Patterno's first dedicated GTM hire. You own the top of the funnel, from identifying the right companies to getting decision-makers on a call. You cold call, you build outbound sequences, you enrich lead lists, and you close the gap between our product and the companies that need it.
This is not a pure SDR seat. You're a generalist who happens to love the phone but is also able to shape, iterate, and execute strategy. You'll build a playbook to automate what can be automated and figure out what works best.
What you'll do
- Own outbound end to end, from building target lists and enriching contacts to cold calling decision-makers and booking qualified demos
- Call every day – unless your calander is full of booked demos ;) – pitch Patterno in 30 seconds, and get bookings on the calendar
- Build and iterate on outbound sequences across phone, email, and LinkedIn
- Set up and optimize AI-powered sales workflows, from lead enrichment to automated follow-ups
- Work defined ICPs and verticals systematically, track what converts, and double down on what works
- Feed market insights back to the founding team, every conversation is competitive intelligence
- Help shape the GTM playbook that the next 10 hires will run
What you bring
- First experience in outbound sales, SDR work, or growth at a startup or fast-moving company
- You've picked up the phone before and you're not afraid of rejection
- Clear, confident communication in German, strong English
- Hands-on with sales tooling like CRMs, enrichment tools, and sequencing platforms
- Familiar with building automated, AI-first workflows using tools like Claude Code, n8n, and similar
- Analytically sharp, you look at numbers before you look at opinions
