The role
You are Patterno's first dedicated designer. You own how Patterno looks and feels everywhere it shows up: on the website, in every deck, across our brand and visuals. We're building the operating system for public procurement in a market full of grey, dated, government-style software. Your job is to make Patterno the obvious exception: sharp, modern, and trustworthy.
This is a generalist seat. One day you're designing a landing page, the next an investor deck, the next a campaign's ad creative. You also bring your eye to the product, collaborating with engineering and the founders to shape and elevate the UI, but product isn't where the bulk of your time goes. You set the visual bar and raise it every week.
What you'll do
- Own the website. Design and iterate patterno.de and our landing pages, fast, in tight loops with marketing
- Build and steward our brand and visual identity, a clean and consistent system across web, social, print, and product
- Craft the decks that win: pitch decks, sales decks, and investor materials that actually sell the story
- Produce marketing and campaign visuals: ad creative, social assets, and whatever a growth experiment needs next
- Co-work on the product. Bring your eye and influence to the UI alongside engineering and the founders, without owning the full product surface
- Keep quality high and turnaround fast. You'd rather ship three sharp iterations than polish one forever
- Bonus: bring motion and video into the mix, from product demos to ad creative and social clips
What you bring
- A strong portfolio with real range across brand, web, and presentation design, with a clear eye for product/UI too
- You can move between a landing page, a deck, and a campaign asset without dropping quality
- You can design a deck that makes people lean in, not zone out
- Fluent in Figma and a fast, structured way of working
- A taste level that's clearly above default. You notice the details most people miss
- Strong English; German is a plus
