The role
You are Patterno’s first Account Executive. You own the full sales cycle end to end, from qualified demo to closed-won, and you work hand-in-hand with Leon to turn early traction into a repeatable revenue motion.
This is not a “take orders” role. You are hands-on in discovery, demos, evaluation, and negotiation. You run a tight process, build trust with senior stakeholders, and help define the playbook that future AEs will follow.
What you’ll do
- Run the full sales cycle from qualified demo to closed-won, including discovery, demo, evaluation, and negotiation
- Lead deals with senior decision-makers and multi-stakeholder buying committees, especially in procurement-heavy environments
- Drive clear next steps and timelines, manage mutual action plans, and keep momentum through complex sales processes
- Partner with the founders on positioning, messaging, and pricing. Turn what you learn in deals into better GTM materials
- Build and maintain a clean pipeline in the CRM, forecast accurately, and make performance visible through clear reporting
- Collaborate with marketing and SDR/outbound efforts as they ramp. Help refine lead qualification and handoff criteria
- Feed market insights back to the product team. Every deal is product input and competitive intelligence
What you bring
- Proven experience closing B2B deals as an AE (ideally SaaS), including running discovery, demos, and negotiations (>3 Years sales experience)
- Strong commercial judgment. You can qualify hard, push for clarity, and walk away when it’s not a fit
- Clear, confident communication in German, plus fluent in English
- Comfortable with modern sales tooling (CRM, sequencing, enrichment). You keep your pipeline clean and your notes sharp
- Proven ability to design, build, and optimize automated, AI-first workflows using tools such as Claude Code, n8n, and similar automation/AI-agent platforms
- Analytically sharp. You look at conversion rates, cycle length, and pipeline coverage before you look at opinions
